illumina NovaSeq 6000
The illumina NovaSeq 6000 provides ultrahigh-throughput sequencing for large sequencing projects. It can host different flow cells producing between 650 million and 10 billion sequence reads to allow a more flexible experiment design according to throughput needs. We perform various single end and paired-end run chemistries up to 2 x 150 bp read length (2 x 250 bp on the small SP flow cell).
Typical experiments that can be done on the NovaSeq 6000:
- re-sequencing of complex genomes (up to 48 human genomes simultaneously)
- de novo sequencing of bacterial genomes
- RNA-seq
- single cell RNA-seq
